Welcome to The Spode Society Website

 

Founded in 1986, the Society brings together collectors and lovers of Spode, to increase knowledge of the Spode/Copeland families, the factory and its wares, and the workforce which created them.

Current membership is mainly in the United Kingdom, but with quite a number from overseas.

The Annual General Meeting is held, normally in May, alternately in the Home Counties and Midlands / North of England.

We also try to organise visits to public and private collections of ceramics particularly with Spode / Copeland content.

The Society produces a twice yearly, illustrated publication, namely The Review, which contains reports on events, articles by members, letters to the Editor and reports on prices at auctions and fairs.
